Our Supportive Process

Site Check
Timeline: Weeks 1-2
Our team reviews your property and local regulations to determine if an ADU can be placed. You’ll receive a preliminary site assessment.

Select Your Unit & Finishes
Timeline: Weeks 2-4
Select how you want your unit to look, deciding between finishes on cabinet, flooring, and siding.

Place Your Deposit
Timeline: After finishes are selected
To save your spot in the manufacturing queue, we request an initial deposit for the unit while you work to obtain your permits locally.

Secure Permits
Timeline: Weeks 6-14
You will need to begin the process of securing the permits to allow the installation of an accessory dwelling unit.

Manufacturing Begins
Timeline: Weeks 14-26
Once your deposit is received and permits are secured locally, you will sign the manufacturing contract and we will begin building your unit in our factory. See a sample contract here. {LINK}

Site Preparation
Timeline: Weeks 22-38
While we build your unit, you or your contractor must complete all on-site prep work (foundation, utilities, grading, etc.).

Site Readiness Confirmation
Timeline: Weeks 23-39
Your contractor conducts a final site check to ensure everything is ready for delivery and installation and provides us with a certification of completion and readiness.
08
Delivery & Installation
Timeline: Weeks 24-41
We ship and install your ADU. After final inspections, you’ll receive your occupancy permit from your local jurisdiction and can begin using your new space.
